Saints Here, There and Everywhere!

Amid the celebrations of the Feast day of St. Patrick, we delved into the lives of a number of saints to really get at the heart of what living Saintly lives were - to see the people behind the myths, behind the crazy drinking and other popular ideas about them.

And we do mean Saints like Saint Patrick, Joseph , not the New Orleans' Saints.

Though they're kind of cool too.

Praying Errday Errday

Sharing group prayers, learning about the different forms of prayer through the YOUCAT and engaging in the interesting form of prayerful reading in Lectio Divina, last cell was one about the basics of prayer.

T'was awesome.

Partying All Night Long with Jesus - NIGHTFEVER!

An amazing night was spent in prayer, contemplation, lighting candles and singing at Nightfever last Friday!

Thanks all those that dropped on by and helped out with various tasks - you helped everything go LIVE!

Especially those of you who went and did Holy Hour. A 5am-6am shift is nothing to scoff at.

On the Beat at JUCCC Retreat!

It was great seeing so many QCCC members and alumni at the JUCCC reading week retreat this past Friday. Our weekend spent with Fr. Francis Ching of the Companions of the Cross proved to be just the thing a fair number of us needed in order to take a step back from our everyday anxieties.

Daily Rosary, eucharistic adoration, confession and Q&As were great!

And the amount of love shared? SO MUCH IT SMOTHERED US.

Thank you all for those who joined us in singing, listening and enjoying dinner with Joseph Cardinal Zen on February 8!

His talk about religious freedom in China, struck chords with us all and reminded us to continue praying and being thankful for our freedom to practice our faith.

All in all, it was great!
